winter car wash?

    hey guys
    just wondering if its a good idea to wash your car in the winter?
    i heard from my brother he said the salt will eat away at my car if i wash it often

    i wash mine almost every week end during winter
    keep as much salt off as posible
    long as u have a good undercoat ull be fine washing it

    I always give mine an awesome wax job before winter and then wash it once a week or every other week.

    I have heard mixed reviews about this.

    Personal opinion, if you are going to wash your car in the winter use cold water. The temperature change from very cold to hot (using hot water) is hard on the paint. metal expands and contracts with different temps so be aware. I have never really had problem myself though, FWIW.

    wash mine to keep the salt off. If your going to do it do it at once a week and use cold water.
