I wanted to turbocharge my car and people are saying that the 4b11 wont hold up so how could we change the 4b11 into a 4b11t ? and how much would this cost?

Uhh, buy a turbo. Hence 4b11Turbo.

You need to upgrade the intercooler, ic pipes, turbo, cams, manifold, tbe. I don't see why you'd have all this money and not money for a REAL Evo X.

If you listen to CamShaft, all you would need is the turbo and piping... but good luck with that one.

    Turbo
    exhaust manifold
    intake manifold
    piping
    intercooler
    exhaust
    fuel pump
    injectors
    fuel rail
    pistons
    rods
    valves
    cam shafts
    cam gears
    crank
    block
    etc
    etc
    etc

    "Upgrade to an Intercooler."

I believe he is refering to if the engine 4b11 would hold the compression and power after the upgrades.... ex: the Block... evox block holds better than our regular block....

According to my mitsu service rep. the main differences between the 4B11T and 4B11NA are the Head, Head gasket, cams, exhaust valves, pistons, bearings, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and of course all the electronics, sensors and everything that comes with a turbo (IC, pipes, turbo, ect.) If after market Heads, Head gaskets, cams, exhaust valves, pistons, bearings, ect. come out for the 4B11T, couldn't we just swap those over and essentially have a stronger engine than a stock 4B11T (Or the same as a rebuilt 4B11T)?

If adding those parts gets me to 600+ HP safely then I would pay $20k for all parts and labor. lol
