Injen Short Ram intake, and as for exhaust, do you just want a cat back or do you want to do headers as well?

Stay away from Fujita intakes....Something about the placement of the MAF on the intake causes a CEL.

I always recommend K+N, they're a little expensive, but well worth it. Mine came with detailed pictures on how to install the intake on my specific car.

For 02-06 lancer cold air intake is better. For 08+ lancer short ram is better.

I got the K&N Typhoon intake, really worth the penny if you ask me! No problems with it so far...

+1 on the k&n. Found it on Amazon for about the same as the RRM. Gonna order it on payday.

to be honest what i recommend for the cheapest way would be look for the name brand products on ebay.
it will be cheapest and its still the same product

But then you have a chance of getting a part that was beat up or broken...

This is true. But then you should never buy from a retailer that says no retuns. Otherwise they always do a return on a damaged product and ebay protects you against that as well.
