hehe not trying to....i wouldnt really set it up too high anyways, this is just for casual use and to have some fun...thats why im posting here first but when i searched i couldnt find any threads but prophet has helped me out there...it is interesting, but i do have a doubt, i noticed the intake manifold in our cars is plastic, how long will that last before breaking? i wouldnt wanna be the first to have an 09 lancer stuck in my house because i blew up the engine, you know? anyhow any info other than that on the link prophet posted will be much appreciated

depends on how much spray your gunna use..so start off small with a 50 shot and work your way up..should hold up to a 75 to a 100 shot

why not just use e100+ gas instead

E100+ gas is great only issue is that you'll burn the O2 sensor right out. It'll read really funny and the car won't run right afterwards. I'm going to come back to the whole NO2 idea once I get my boss to help me with the install of the tank. I might do it for show only, but first we need to install the sound system. We'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Getting a new kit this week, potential install this weekend. It's a wet shot with a fogger, so I shall take pics of the install as I go. It's going to be anywhere from a 1 day to 1.5 day install because I'm not used this type of manifold. From there it's time to look at the other important features like...tuning?

its not cheating cuz it puts more stress on ze engine forcing a big bang later.

When you have a bone stock GTS that has CVT and you don't have the option of putting a supercharger into it because it's not developed and turbo is out of the question because no one makes a kit for the CVT yet. RRM's kit is bullshit so I refuse to dump $4K into a kit that'll get me 4 psi before the transmission blows up. Nitrous is not cheating, it's simply working with that you have and improving the situation. Besides....I'm yet to see anyone on here do a nitrous install.

Read the post and rethink that statement. The people who bash nitrous oxide or any kind of meth set up are just too nervous to do the install and admit that while it's not the answer to all power problems, it's still a nice little kick to have. Not everyone can afford a forced induction setup. And those who can, usually are not stuck with the CVT.

Nos is what I ve learned to be like a time bomb, eventually it will blow up. The question is 1) how long, and 2) is it worth the damage?

One can also say, that turbo's are just waiting to "blow up" as well. Especially when people are trying to crank as much power out of them as they can.

if you wanted more power should have gotten an evolution or RA, 'nuff said. Unfortunately the Lancer DE, ES & GTS are grocery getters and econo cars.

I said nos is cheating because it is. A lot of the so called "racers" use the bottle know the cant go heads up motor vs motor and need that "edge"

seriously guys, if someone wants NOS let them. if someone wants a turbo, let them. its their car not yours. stop this bickerin, also some of us cannot afford an RA or Evo. keep that in mind, i would love to have gotten the MR Evo but i cannot afford it. the most i could afford was the GT, so if i want NOS in it, then im gonna do it. so F#$% off, this damn arguing is pissing me off. let me do them and you do you. if i sound like a whinny little girl then so be it, i'm speaking my mind. and if i offend anyone, then i do apologize because this is not what i'm trying to do. i'm just tired of the arguments, i get enough of that at work.

Thanks, looks like the Lancer is out of commission unless I can find a miraculous way to fix it. No mods for a LONG time. Just got home from the hospital, things are going to be messy next few months.
