    Sup folks hows it going? Names Matt 23 living in North Florida (Tallahassee) im fairly new to the site so i figured i would give my formal Hello. I picked up an 08 Wicked White GTS (sunsound/navitech) around a week ago and i absolutely love this freakin car, its a huge improvement over the pickup i was previously driving. Anyway below are a couple pics of the ride right now, no real mods just blacked out the grille and im getting 15% tint all around this afternoon..

    I really like the white.. I wish mine was white now that ive lived on a dirt road in my black one.. I REALLY like the flat black look there..

    question: can I take it off and just spray it black or is there more to it than that?? I just absolutely HATE chrome with a passion..

    and what do we thing.. will flat black be ugle on the black car?

    i have the same problem
    i fucking hateee fake chrome and i have a tarmac black car aswell so i think black/black would look too suspicious..

    i wanted to paint my engine and spark plug covers but i decided on a dark blue..

    i was thinking of spraying the lining of the grill with a dark grey?

    hmm...and what to do with the ugly crome mitsu logo... is that how it would be done tho?? just spray paint it?.. any prepping??

    Delpium, with a black car like yours, i think it would look cool to paint it just a flat silver/aluminum color and then tape it off and paint the mitsu symbol black. But thats just me.

    Pocket, yea you can pretty much just have it pulled off and painted. Its not as simple as just pulling it off and shooting spray paint at it though. It'll just flake off that way.

    take the grill assembly off, separate the mesh from grill. then you have got to sand the grill with fine sanding paper( i used 180). after the surface is sanded, coat it with primer(3 coats). then give it a couple of hours to dry(in my case 1/2 a day).lastly give it some coat of flat black & voila! hope it helps.

    seems simple enough... ive done painting before if it previously seemed like I was oblivious to it.. i just wasnt sure about that fake chome finish

    ooo or how boye the outside piece flat black and the logo alum silver look
