the process is pretty much the same, get the sd card you used the last time, copy the the image file to the sd,

1. insert your sd card on the unit
2. boot the unit
3. go to windows explorer and then open myflashdisk folder
4. inside that folder open APL folder
5. look for Image file and rename it as Image1
6. open another window explorer and open storage card folder
7.from the storage card, copy Image file and paste it to myflashdisk/APL folder
8. close all windows and press down on the volume knob and once the launcher shows up click pioneer,
once its all booted up you can now remove the sd.

that's it, let me know how it goes

i'll start working on this one tomorrow, this is what i have in mind, that EGA logo on a white background, and the american flag as a slider,
if you'll check my VR skin, you'll see quagmire image on the top left corner, that image moves as seen in the picture below but not as fast,



so if you could think of something to be placed there that would help.

ok now i need your help, while working on my unit i a ccidentally deleted some files on my unit, i need to know what files are inside the iGO folder, i was lucky it didn't deleted everything but the thng is i don't know what got deleted, if you could help me out on this i will realy appreiciate it

whooo, i got it up and running, apparently i'm missing some files, now on to the VR skin

while working on your VR, I decided to try replacing the arrow on the 3D map,



and it worked, the down side to this one is that the icon will not rotate or tilt, it is a fixed image that is painted on top of the map
what do you think

procedure is pretty much the same as before,

1. extract the downloaded file,
2. copy the file to your SD
3. boot into testmode
3. go to myflashdisk/apl2/igo/vbt
4. back up the skin folder
5. copy the skin folder on your SD to that location
6. reboot and verify if it is working
