Just a quick suggestion from you guys. Is this air intake worth my money in terms of performance gains in my 2009 Lancer se 2.0L?? I have been doing a lot of research on it and I'm 50/50 on it. They say it helps throttle response. Is that true? Also I'm kind of to the negative side about increase of HP. Aswell as the fuel economy. Like in winter we get cold air and that's why our fuel mileage is lower than when it's summer. Am I right? This could just be another aftermarket gimmick.

How is the sound? Is it too loud? Did you feel any difference on the throttle response. Probably no gain at all in terms of HP.

One thing I will say about K&N is their customer service and warranty is second to none. I have always been pleased

The k&N 69 series I noticed I get more power in the higher rpms and the throttle response is quicker not to mention it gives out a strong throatier sound when you step on it! Btw I've had it installed for 1 year and a half and no CEL!
