Hi Guys, I am trying to install amp + sub in CJ(right hand driven). Can some one please show from where to run a 4 AWG power cable. If you have some pics please post them. Thanks Tama.
I drilled a hole in my firewall just above the gas pedal. If you have a CVT, it would probably be easier to put one through near the brake pedal, but I have a M/T and it's really tight in he engine bay on by the clutch. Some people have used some of the pre-existing grommets with 4 AWG, but I couldn't fit 1/0 through any myself.
if you dont want to drill like i did, you can run it right through the driver side fender and it will come out right at the door, of course you will have to prob use a coat hanger to get it through easier, then with door open u will see a little rubber boot just slice that open and run it in to the car.
