how do i turn off the headlight during the day,lancer 2008,i wonder if i cut the emergency break wire and groundit? :twisted:
this is a problem that has not been resolved as of yet. however it does seem like the DRLs are controlled by the ECU, so this will most likely be a programming issue.
I just removed the 10A fuse for the daytime running lights and it worked just fine. now the lights will only go on when i turn on the parking lights or the headlights...no more DRL!
Unfortunately, I just went for a drive to test it out...i dont know why, but the DRL went on. I put the fuse back in to prevent any sort of electrical problem. I think some other people have tried this and the same effects happened. So sorry for the false hopes people!!! To answer your Q ^, removin the fuse didnt affect any other part of the system.
