Recently finished piecing up my exhaust system and well it doesnt sound like it hope it would. i have option racing header/down pipe, a 2.25 cat converter, and n SR*S 2.5in cat back exhuast.

its real raspy when at low rpm's and kinda sounds like a quieter version of open headers but once its about at 3k rpm or above it quiets down n sounds alot better. the raspiness seems likes its coming from where the downpipe and cat converter meet. Does anyone know a solution to fix this???

stupid question, but you did make sure to install the gaskets, right? I've actually done that before.....Get everything done, only to look down and see a stray exhaust gasket lying there...

you might wanna also try putting it on a lift and listhening where the problem is might have a small exhaust leak of some sort.
