    How you made it ??

It's really useful, cause you don't need to put your finger in the gap between trunk and rear bumper :)

    It´s very easy.

I just buy two stronger gas spring.
The two oem have 280N/ piece.
    But it´s not finished.
The springs I bought have 600 N/ piece, because I was afraid of buying to weak springs.
But with 1200 N it´s so hard to close the trunk again.

So I tried one OEM with 280 N and one with 600 N, but it didn´t work well.
I took a little normal spring an screwed it on the bumper of the trunk.
The result is shown in the video.

Next week I´ll buy new gas spring with 450 N per piece and hope it will be enough, so I´ll leave away the normal spring.

Here is where I placed the normal spring

I´m from Austria, so it wont help you if I tell you were the springs are from.
Just go, with the oem spring, to a shop that sell gas springs and tell them you want the same spring with 475 N.
    That is all!

To make it close by it self may not so easy.
I´ve looked around a long time and the cheapest way to do it is about 1600$.
For me it´s not worth the money.

So I re-gassed my springs today to 500N each and it still doesn't come up by itself. Any development?

I'd be fine with just putting a spring on my car I just don't know where to even start looking for them :p

    ofey,

Are you running with the GTS spoiler? if so, I think you are going to need to increase the newtons on the gas struts mate as that spoiler adds a considerable weight to the trunk lid.

Hm, I´ve use a little spring to push the trunk up the first way, but I thought it would work with two stronger gas springs.
If you have a spoiler, you must use stronger spirngs.
For example the EVO OEM springs has 380 N.
