4g93 turbo manifold on 4g94?

    I was looking at turbo kits for a 4g94 and it was listed for a 4g93 engine also. Are these manifolds interchangeable?

    I don't think so, but I'm not really sure. I know the 63 was the Evo engine, not too sure about the 93. So, a quick Wiki search, and to me it seems like they're kind of two different engines. The 94 is bored out more and a higher stroke then the 63. At first glance, I'd say no, but further investigation may prove otherwise.

    4g93 is the mirage. The manifolds are interchangable. They are the same engine except the 93 is a 1.5/1.6/and 1.8 liters. You can use that manifold.

    Yes that's the domestic(u.s.) mirage. And as far as I know it was only in the mirage.

    I was reading about it and the page said the 93 was in a few different cars, but I'm pretty sure they were talking about some cars in other countries.

    The 4G93 is available in both SOHC and DOHC versions. Turbocharged variants are also produced. In mid 1996 Mitsubishi released a gasoline direct injection (GDI) version of the 4G93. This GDI model saw a production of of over a million units, and was the first of the modern GDI engines.

    The 4G94 is a 2.0 L (1,999 cc) version built in Japan, used in the Mitsubishi Lancer. It has a cast iron engine block with MPFI (fuel injection) and an aluminum SOHC cylinder head with forged steel connecting rods and four valves per cylinder.
