" I know this isn't what you guys are waiting for, but it's raining here, and although "snails" do come out in the rain, the good stuff will have to wait.

For now, this is what came to fruition:

After centering the adhesive stencil, I masked off and left these letters exposed then applied four coats of a darker red to better match the car:"

...Then, I exposed these symbols and tried to apply a fade to the end by shooting steady to the left of the stencil, then sweeping quickly to the right. I applied four coats repeating this technique each time:

Using a blow dryer to expedite my impatience in the moisture, I unmasked and remasked for the bottom letters and applied four coats of gloss black:

Shooting photos from the front didn't do justice (lighting issues) so I played with different angles and came up with these which, appear to show the proper effects. I hope Michael and Brent approve:"

The manifold spacer, along with the longer studs, should be in next week, as my car is going up on a lift hopefully next week as well. Here's what's left to modify / obtain:

    1. WG actuator bracket and lever
    2. Down pipe
    3. Cat pipe
    4. Intake pipe (Hackish is modifying)
    5. Oil pan bung
    6. Write reflash to ECU

4g69 flange/spacer by RRE...these are laser cut which causes minor warping, so I "ponked" it (beat it with a rubber mallet) and it flattened out nicely:

While I wait, I tee'd off of the oil pressure sensor bung for my turbo oil source (located on the back of the block, driver side, behind the oil pan):

    Garrett 2.5" Flex Pipe...

After spending four hours shooting down ideas, after my initial "paper towel roll" mock-up, as to why I didn't have enough room for a downpipe, the shop foreman finally agreed to go ahead with a twist on my original idea brought up by a humble worker overhearing our debate. 2.50" piping is going to be mocked up first to see if we can squeeze that in.

    Garrett, I could use that piping right around now.... I'll make do though if you can't...{thumbup}
