This is something I did. Its just the top section of the door panel. I disassembled the panel and then laminated it in c/f. Built up...
Sure it lays on top and adhered with 3M tape, but a true over lay is when u take the actual OE piece and laminate it in c/f. So that it ressembles...
That is not a c/f overlay. That is a c/f stick on. I dont doubt that your using real c/f, but u are NOT overlaying c/f on to the stock...

c/f is conductive so... would have to just try it. Although some things r just meant to blend in.
