Dont think there is anything wrong with where it is goes through a grommet behind the gaurd liner then enter's the cabin through another grommet...

Quick update Got the metra dash kit last week and needed a bit of sanding due to my steering wheel on right hand side. Using an Alpine 9855r...
i used the PAC SWI-jack i think it was with the jack taht plugs into the back of deck works fine cant comment on bluetooth though.

I got mine installed yesterday and its not a perfect fit sits out in the bottom left corner but maybe cause my steering wheel is on the right hand...
