Will they make a humming noise and send vibrations thru the steering wheel and pedals when they start to fail? Sent from the Sickest Thunderbolt EVER
The sound that I have always associated with a bad wheel bearing is like a humming. It reminds me of a 4x4 truck with some deep-treaded mud tires on pavement. Also, you may be able to feel more vibrations, but one of the things to listen for is a metal-on-metal sound when hitting large bumps...just like a bad shock or strut. I hate trying to describe sounds...just because everything sounds different to each person. BTW: I got your text, but my phone is screwed up. Guess thats what happens when you get pissed and throw it across the yard.
