    Nice pick up man. How much did she run you? That's the perfect project car. Unlimited potential. Car can be made to go in a straight line fast as well as handle the twistes with ease.

    i got her for $1900. the guy wanted 3k ;) she's got 105k on the chassis, and 63k on the ka24de ^ ^. as far as plans go, get her to run really cherry, fix anything needed to be fixed, replace alot of things.. then after all that, throw her some coils, and some of these babies

    with some tires.. idk yet. gotta fender roll, those rims are so damn wide haha. but after that ill just start fixing up the engine, turbo being last. but in the long run, ima put this on her

    I'd do Daytona Blue...a Nissan color. Don't disgrace the Silvia by putting a Honda color on it lol. Also, no interest in the s15 conversion eh? But keep us updated on how the project comes along.

    i wouldnt say disgrace :/ haha, and its already got the jdm kouki front end on it so i got no desire to get a s15 front clip, i think they're both sexy as hell. but yea i just checked it out, daytona blue's pretty badass. gracias ^ ^

    /\ you going to take it to gmr when the coils are put in? If you do I will keep my eye out on it. my buddy goes there with his cousins, who have miatas. Great pickup on the deal!!!

    Nice... although i do like the zenki front better, the kouki is awesome and rare...

    I wish you lived in FL.. i know a place where they do the SR conversions and they are cheap/very clean and correctly done...

    Boosting a KA is awesome, but reliability and maintenance is an issue for me... i just love the power that sr brings out of the box, or even the bad ass sound of the RB at high revs :twisted:

    I wish i could find a 240 that cheap down here.. i would have said goodbye to the lancer long ago :D

    S14s stock IMO look kinda ugly

    until u get the silvia S14 conversion

    then their pure sex :D

    dont forget the SR20DET or RB26

    and then u can do some dori dori

    but lovin wht u have planed for the car :thumbright:

    i've had a collection of 240's as well. from 91 to 94 to 96 to 97 and now 98 haha. invest in a set of 97-98 kouki tails. will definitely finish off the look of your kouki conversion.

    mine used to be ka24de as well.... now
    ka24de --> tomei s14 phase I sr20det

    having the sr20det in cali is illegal :/ Believe it or not, in my town they got a task force that actually takes peoples turbocharged cars, that they turboed themselves, and impounds them. and yea i already ordered some Kouki taillights from the Zilvia.net forum ^ ^ brand new their like $650 man, crazy retarded. But yea idk i just love the meanness of the Kouki haha. Just today i threw in some Royal Purple, and replaced the MAF sensor and oil pan gasket and shes running pretty damn well. for a bone stock ka24de shes torquey as hellll. im anxious :D

    yah that was my first love...coming from the world of nissans and toyota's (also built a few 91-94mr2s) and all my previous cars being RWD and now the lancer FWD... the lancer totally suprised me and i fell in love with it . maybe i'm just getting old? haha no that cant be it....

    wow you found my dream car, i found one here in myrtle for 5k 98 SE. it was between that and the lancer, i chose the lancer because i had to have a car cause my old one blew

    I remember back when I went to UCF...I would see boosted KAs at the track running low 10s all day. I'd love to hop on board the "project car" train but with the way things are right now...not sure it's wise to do so lol.
