Ive been on the forums for awhile and had the car for awhile so i thought i should make a progress report here the car as it sits now Front Back (just took off the badges today) Side Greddy SE exhaust (its scratched because the bumper was repainted after i was hit and paint got on the tip so i had to scrub it off) Engine bay (a little dusty) Injen sri close up Brand new Blox 490 LE NEO shift knob :mrgreen: cant figure out how to get the shift boot to stay on the nut New Kumho tires other mods you cant see are: Perrin 4" antenna torque solution front motor mount getting tints done next week In the future i plan on painting the engine bay and mitsubishi emblems red or blue but i don't know how to do that and i want to put vinly on the roof to make it flat black but i dont know how it will look with the sun roof and im selling two of the tires the car came with that are in great condition
upload them all to imageshack and use those links just like how you have the first few. and "welcome" and the emblem on the back should be able to be taken off with go gone and fishing line just a gently saw back and forth with the line and it should pop off and then just use some paint on it and then glue it back on and Viola!!
you dont have to sand off the chrome I would just scuff it up to roughen the surface so the paint sticks better but if they are plastic just use a plastic spray paint and just decide what color you want.
I have a similar shift knob, take apart the console to get underneath the boot and use a zip tie to hold it up.
you could also put a washer inside the boot and thread another nut to hold it in place.youll just see the top nut under the knob
