Hey guys. So I took off my air intake to plastidip it and when I put it back on, the service engine soon light came. Hmmm, what could it be? I know I can reset it by taking off the negative battery cable but I cannot get it off. So, anyone have any suggestions, solutions, remedies? Let me know! Thanks

I don't know why it's become popular to take it off the negative battery terminal. It actually kills the battery. If you disconnect the positive it prevents any power from flowing outward. But yea, what l2q said. remove the positive. Let it sit for about 10 mins then plug it back in.

Because in electrician school (which is what im going through right now) they teach you that current and power flows "negative to positive" so by removing the negative, you kill the power supply...not always true...

Alright, well I'll take off the positive and see what happens. I'll let you all know what happens.
