no it wont fit OVER the sirius antenna... doesnt matter if you use sirius or not.. if you have it your SOL
the only downside to it is the manufacturer says it will not fit over the existing Siruis antenna.. so that sucks for a lot of us

why didnt you disconnect the battery if you were going to be toying around with wires?
