I was going to work today and I saw a mitsubishi Diamante just cut in front of me....at first I thought a lancer but I looked closer and I was like....I wonder why they don't make them no more

" Mitsubishi ceased to import the Diamante to North America after 2004 due to a decline in sales and unfavourable exchange rates. The U.S. market Galant grew in size, and was replaced by the upper-end GTS trim of the Galant. "

Nobody was buyin em ! :D I remember my parents got one when they first came out in the early 90's.. they were such a hit ;D

Anyone know what it looks like now over in Japan? Or did they stop it there too? I wonder if it'd be nicer than the new Galants haha

From what I understand they stopped making them altogether in 2005.

We can use the motor and drop it into a 8G Galant 6G72... one powerful N/A motor...

Saw one last night on the way home, thought it was a Galant until I saw the Diamante on the back.

They're not really rare here in Alabama...but very few are in decent shape. I almost picked one up for 800 bucks about two years ago. If you do want to find one...come here, plenty of them running around.
