Hello everyone, My friend and I are having a problem. We both HID kit with relay harness for our lancer 2009 (es,gt and gts). We plugged everything and the DRL still flicker the light. Here is how we did it: Started by plug/play the balast to the car like if there was no relay, to test if everything work. then unpluged the balast from the batterie side and connect it to the relay. Take the OEM plug and plug into the relay. Take the remaining plug on the relay and plug it into the other balast, leaving 1 oem plug empty. Then, plug the pos of the relay to the batterie, plug the ground of 1st balast to the batterie and the 2nd balast ground to the car ground (yeah our relay had the ground on the balast side, instead of 1 at the relay side). Turn on the car, check with DRL, flicker. We tried all 3 relay, still same thing. However, we found something weird. If, in the remaining OEM, we plug one of the OEM light (which make 3 lights in the car), no flicker! Same thing if we keep 1 balast plug and keep 1 oem light. Someone know what's going on here? Just a quick question...which relay are you using? Did you buy it from jrox on here? If not, can't help ya, his never has ANY issues!
Actually, not to be a downer, but I have the Jrox one and it worked great for a couple months, but then the flickers started, and now the passenger side flickers and the drivers side sometimes wont come on. I have to flick the light switch on and off a bunch of times to get it to come on now.
