Has anyone lowered their lancer?

    I'm thinking about lowering my lancer maybe about 1.5" but I'm not sure how it will look. I wanted to do a body kit but I'm startin to think lowering it would look better. If anyone did it can I see some pictures and any other info?

    If you do a body kit, be careful lowering it, cuz our body kits are fiberglass and you scrape one time and its over lol. Look at the members rides section, theres tons of lowered cars.

    teins with a lip= death..I'm about to take the lip off cause its annoying and way too low

    Seriously? the Lip makes it low w/ teins? I guess if you love the lip, coilovers would remedy that?

    That is not low...
    Just learn how to drive it to not scrape.
    Angle the speedbumps, and slow down.

    yea...its not like I drive the car everyday or anything....its low..pics don't show it well

    Compared to the 240's around here.. that's a truck. But I can imagine driving that every day everwhere would be annoying having to dodge pot holes and everything.

    laurilancer09 As far as lowering goes.. there a ton of pictures around of lowered cars. You just have to look. RRM springs will drop the car but not enough to cause any damage to body kits or make it inconvienent. If you get the Tein S Techs you'll more than likely need a camber kit and like chet said, body kits will be close.

    Here is some pics of my lancer with Eibach Pro-kit.

    Its not a big drop. Just to clean up the wheel gap. (1.2F, 0.8R)
    Didn't want to go to low cuz the roads up here suck.

    I actually really like the Eibach's but I think I'm getting RRM's. Their springs drop it a little more don't they?

    I have an ES and i didnt get a body kit so I should be okay on that. I was thinkin of gettin a body kit but then just decided to lower it instead

    I can see it now! it wasn't working in safari so i opened it in explorer & it worked. looks really good. I should be gettin mine lowered in a few weeks. i'm gettin tints today :)

    You said u did 2.1F and 1.9R... how is that when you drive over speed bumps and everyday driving? how is it different? thanks

    Wow Actually i Just Installed them last Monday By my Self.. U Cn Fell The Drop When U Get In THe CAr. And In The Driving Part Itz The Same u Just Gotta B Careful When Goin Into The DrivewaYZ Or Any Part U Fell Ur Goin 2 Hit. MA Car Is OnLy 5 Fingers Above The ground So is.. LOW.
