08 RRM Turbo Lancer. With Vidz and Dyno Vidz. *updated*

    Been driving for almost 2 weeks with my snail in. Filled up yesterday and got over 400+ miles on the tank. This 8itch is fun. As you can see, (or not) I've painted my intercooler for the stealth look. No regrets at all. [​IMG]

    Very nice. Custom tune or basic tune? Any dyno or plans for one?

    The same company that tunes the N/A piggyback through Road Race (Split Second Tuning) was also responsible for the new piggyback for my F/I application. So naturally I knew i was in good hands. Hence the excellent gas mileage too.


    no plans for a dyno. i know the power is there and that's all i really care about. :D

    yea i know, i know....vidz


    Luckily i dont' have my own recorder. Cuz im not in too much of a rush to make a vid either. But I'll make one eventually. Or at the least some of our local so cal members will take some vids with their own camcorder's and post up the vids. Hopefully the mic's are decent on the camcorder's. Most Mic's take shitty audio quality

    1st - Its about dang time someone else on the boards is turboed. Now there are 2 of us that know the kit is well worth the money!!! Also, what ever you do, DO NOT switch to a TurboXS RFL bov. :D

    2nd - No times yet. Weather is warming up and tracks are strating to open. BUT, I won't be able to do anything until I get new tires. The turbo has trashed my stock Dunlops in about a month.

    Vacuum/Boost Gauge (auto meter 52mm)
    Summer Tires
    Pads/Slotted Rotors from Road Race

    down the road:

    Painted Carbon Hood

    Driving around for these 2 weeks and i don't even have one decent story to tell. :evil:

    It's easy to punk people who think im in a N/A Lancer when im trying to merge into traffic and stuff but that's it. Nothing exciting yet.....Just about the only highlight was the gas tank milage. lol

    It will come, trust me. Maybe it came faster for me due to the carbon fiber front and you can see my FMIC. :D

    My runs: Lexus IS350 - killed
    VW GTI - Had a lot more power than me an 10 x lighter. He pulled on me in 3rd.
    Nissan 350 - draw
    Chevy Cobalt SS - won
    Hyundai Tiburon - killed
    Honda Civic - killed

    LOL @ mentioning a Civic.

    How many of those races were because they saw your car and THEN challenged you? That's exactly why I painted mine black. I don't give a fuck who knows I have turbo. Im mostly looking forward to seeing what the RA can do against my car.

    By the way, where are you thinking of mounting your gauge(s)? Im thinking steering column for my 52mm vac/boost gauge.
