    Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the trim from this inside of my car so that I can paint it a new, sexier, color instead of the standard gray. I would also like to remove the door trim as well. If anyone could give me some instructions on how to do this It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

For the door trim, the easyiest way is to just remove the entire door panel. The trim has clips on the back that you want to be careful with and not break.

The dash trim, particularly the one under the passenger airbag is held on by push clips and 1 screw to the far right behind a panel to the right of the glovebox.

The dash trim to the left of the steering wheel is the same just smaller :D

I want to put in 2 or 3 sets of LEDs depending on the setup and would like to use those spots for switches.

Yes, you have to remove that entire panel and then flip it over. They are held in with screws.

I havn't tried that yet, but most steering wheel column trim is held on with screws. Look on the bottom piece or on the side. Should be slotted holes with screws. Undo those and then pull them apart.
