donno if you guys have noticed this... but everytime i try to put my car in reverse while im rolling down my driveway it grinds. i have to come to a complete stop and then put it in reverse for it not to grind... my previous cars never did this... anyone having the same problem?
thats so wierd man.... used to have an rx8....never grinded... have another mazdaspeed6.....never grinds.... wierd.... oh well....i guess i wont do it...haha...dont wanna f it up.
this can be coused by the clutch pedal not being adjusted correctly, yes i know its a brand new car, and everything should be perfect, sometimes its not! try looking down if there isnt any carpet thats folder up there thats keeping you from engaging the clutch, and another thing, try pressing the clucth pedal allllll the way down to the floor. those are the main things to look for right now. BTW manual guys, did you brake your clutch in for at least 500 miles when you bough the car, or just went out and started drifting! you know everything should have been broken into. including the clutch. May be you glazed the clutch... who knows. but check the upper part of my post first, if that doesnt help GO TO A DEALER, since you have your warranty.
ya def first 500kms i babied it....and my cluth is always pressed all the way and im pretty sure the carpet isnt folded under there.. gonna take it to the dealer....lets c wut happens. thanks for the info though...
