Evo X license plate frame

This is how mines came out.

 

Mitsu dealer is where I bought my bracket from.

 

$30...same price as the ebay...but not as original as the real one

 

The one from ebay is a piece of junk. It's just an off the shelf plate made for center mounting that some kid sprayed a single layer of paint on that doesn't even come close to matching the OEM. I got one and it came it with its shoddy paint job and was warped along the top and didn't even come close to fitting up the way he said it would.

I ordered the OEM Evo braket from my dealer the next day. It should be here Tuesday, I wish I went that route to begin with.

 

not to rain on your parade scotty but the ebay guy said it doesnt match the OEM color it to be darker. But if you dont like the color why didnt you just paint over it :cry: to each his own I guess. Well if you live on the east north coast I will buy it off you?

I looked into the EVO one but I didnt like the fact that its OEM EVOX position hangs slightly lower covering the fog light a little.

 

Zerocool, thats the ebay one right? how hard was it to install? just a simple power drill in and thats it?

and I really wanted to know what bulbs you have in there for fogs; are they yellow? and what HID unit headlights did you have? if you dont mind me being a little nosy

So i finally got around to getting my done, heres some pics of how mine turned out.







And tomorrow im going to start working on painting the middle of the bumper next.

 

im getting the evox style plate off of ebay and wanted ta know if any one put a frame over the license plate with the evo x plate mount?? will it fit or even look good cause im gettting a ralliart frame.
and did anyone just cover up the orginal plate holes with just vinyl????
would it still show if i did that i really need help on this cause it's my first time doing vinyl.

And to mischief, i just covered it up with vinyl but thats only because i didnt know what to use to cover it up. But now i know. If u want u can use these plugs to cover up those holes. Heres the link.

okay thanks bro, actually ive seen that site already, i just dont like how it makes the holes stick out more. but ill try ta work something out.

 

Well as promised i finished painting the middle of the bumper and filled in the holes too. so here it is.
