I've been around the forums for about 2 weeks now just reading up on various posts. I bought an 08 Lancer DE about a month ago and I'm loving it but its pretty basic and needs some personal touches. I'm a car newbie, I can do an oil change and refill basic fluids nothing too savvy. So I will probably have a lot of questions as I have a lot to learn but I'm willing to learn
welcome, what are you into looks, performance, we have it all, the vendors are doing their best for everything to come out..
For now I'm looking into changing up the stock radio it just doesn't appeal to me and well FM transmitting my Ipod has gotten old already. I'm looking to get a Navigation/Stereo to replace it. After that probably replace the speakers since I can already hear static on them when I listen to a CD or the radio As to the look, I like the stock look already I don't know if I'll change the outside of the car much. At least not for a while, I'm dreading getting my plates, the front of the car looks so clean without a plate holder on it which is how it came out of the dealership. As to performance I'm not too sure yet, since right now its my commuter car I'm scared to lose mileage for performance so I'd probably hold back. All this of course is limited by warranties :lol: Thanks for the welcomes and nice to meet you all
Welcome and as far as the plates, you can get the Evo X style plate for the front on Ebay. If you like it, id do it now before you have to drill holes in the front.
