A Minivan !!!!! AAHHHHHHH




Thats right, just got back from the dealer and I bought a minivan, lol. I needed to, my wife and I have twins on the way and both our cars are too small to put two cars seats and all the other various stuff we need.

So, we bit the bullet and bought a minivan.

We were going to buy a used one, but then decided to get a new one after talking about it. Well, after going to several dealers we decided to go to the KIA dealer just to see what they had.

Well, what they had was a brand new, left over 2007, KIA Sedona, fully loaded, for the same price as any 2008 base model minivan on the market.

This thing has power liftgate, two power sliding doors, all power windows (3rd row too), power heated mirrors, power heated seats, all leather, power open/tilt moon roof, DVD entertainment system, nice 13 speaker stereo w/6-cd changer, power break/gas pedals (mirros,seats and pedals with memory modes for different drivers). auto-dimming mirros,.... hell, the thing is totally power thru-out.

After seeing all those (and many more) options, it wasnt hard to talk my wife into driving a mom mobile.... infact, I think we'll be racing to the driver's seat when we go on drives... cuase I gotta admit, its a freaking nice car...

OMG... what am I saying... I need a shrink, lol...

But, truth to tell, this would be the nicest car, as far as options go, that either of us ever owned, lol.

Dont know about 20's, lol.. it comes with 17's already, hehehe.. besides, my wife makes fun of my mods on my lancer, I dont think shell be up for minivan mods, lol.

Heh, I gotta admit, I actually like it alot.
The thing has a 3.8L V6 that puts out 250 bhp /253 lb tourqe, it does 0-60 in about 8.7 seconds... I bet it would beat my CVT lancer , lol. during the test drive I really got on it when we took it on the highway, man, its pretty fast for a people carrier, lol.

Just wanted to clear things up, so Im not a liar, lol....

I remebered that there were two loaded 2007's on the lot, one with the dvd entertainment package, and one with out... the one with the DVD was $2,000 more. After talking with my wife at the dealership, we decided we didnt need the DVD player now, and we'll install an aftermarket in a few years when the kids could actually use it.

So, we opted to go with the loaded one without the DVD screen.. everything else is the same, just no DVD player. $2,000 was way to much for a small 8" DVD player.

I said there was one in my first post, but that was a mistake... just wanted to clear that up, lol.

I,ve seen a turbo'ed mini van before at EnglishTown in NJ (drag track), The thing ran a 12.332 @ 112 mph, was funny as hell.. it beat a mustang in the other lane, lol.

Was kinda sick, lol!
