Hello, I new to timers, I'm a mini truckers that just picked up me a 2010 Lancer... I would like to put some 18's on my ride and lower it... Unsure where I should start and what lowering kit I should go with... But i fit out here on this site I hope.
Welcome to Lt! as for a lowering kit depends on how you want to drive. Want to stay with as much comfort as possible while being a little lower look into tein springs. If you want to sacrifice a bit of comfort to get better handling then go for coil overs. Im on megan coils right now on my 03 lancer. I like them so far for what they are worth. bc coils I hear are the rave for you newer lancer owners.
idk, im lovin my Tein springs. lol it lowers my ride and its feels good for handling and comfortability.

Welcome... What did you drive for a mini truck? I used to have an 87 jimmy slammed to the weeds...I miss it dearly.
Ooohhhh gawd I'm jelous. I miss my mini dearly. I've contemplated getting back into that scene now for a long long time. Here is mine with a 5/6 drop before I went down to a 7/9 and notched the frame. I unfortunately broke the hard drive with the newest pics of it so I don't have any more pics...but damn it was low for static suspension. I sold it to a friend of mine who refuses to sell it back. It's been in his garage for the last 3 years...my advice, don't ever let it go. I've regretted it since the day she left.
@roblaza Looks nice. Yeah I plan on keeping it, I put to much money in it to let it go, because I will never sale it for how much I put into it.
I let mine go for less than a steal. lol I sold it for $500 bucks because I had 3 vehicles and nowhere to put them. It needed to go. I kick myself everyday
Yeah, I sold it to a friend of mine and even let him pay it in instalments!!!! thats how bad I needed it out of the driveway. 2 car driveway...my Ram, my Civic, my Jimmy, Dad's car, Sister's car, Sister's bf/s Car lol I've been bugging him for over 3 years now to sell it back to me for $1000 as it's been sitting in his garage since he got it (he never even drove it once) and now he has a 2 month old son...but he wont.
